Lisa Zhang, Co-Chair
I’m Lisa Zhang, class of 2026 and studying statistics with a data science concentration. On campus, I’m involved in Duke Impact Investing Group, Duke Technology Scholars (DTech), Duke Club Taekwondo, and Duke CommuniTea. In my free time, I love to paint or throw pottery on the wheels at the Arts Annex.
Charlotte Duffy, Co-Chair
Hi, I'm Charlotte Duffy, a junior from New York City majoring in Economics and Political Science with a Minor in Chinese. At Duke, I am also a council member for the Duke Program in American Grand Strategy, a shareholder for Campus Enterprises, and a writing consultant with the Duke Writing Studio. In my free time I love to run, try new restaurants around Durham, and hangout on BC Plaza!
Cate Gerson, Communications Director
Hi! My name is Cate, and I am class of 2028 studying Mathematics and Chinese. I studied at DKU with the Chinese language intensive program in Summer 2025. On Campus, I am involved in Duke’s chapter of the Association for Women in Mathematics and am a TA for Calculus II. In my free time, I love to hang out with friends on BC, dance, and play tennis.

Hi! I’m Roohi, originally from Los Angeles, California. I graduated from Duke Kunshan University in 2023 with a major in Political Economy. During my time on campus in Kunshan, I especially loved exploring nearby water towns and taking in the vibrant energy of Shanghai. I’m excited to help new students transition smoothly into life at Duke and make the most of their experience both academically and culturally.
