Master of Environmental Policy (iMEP)
The four-semester, 16-course international Master of Environmental Policy program is designed to capture the skills necessary for a new generation of environmental policy leaders. It is the first program in the world to draw together the important core requirements in environmental management and public policy, including economics, political science, sociology, history, law, statistics and environmental science.
Master of Management Studies (MMS)
Students begin this program on Duke’s campus in Durham, where they engage in coursework and team projects at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business; they spend the second half of the academic year taking courses at Duke Kunshan. All of the MMS courses are taught by Fuqua School of Business faculty. The program places an intense focus on career development, and provides career coaching, professional development workshops, recruiter events, as well as access to the global Fuqua network of alumni.
Master of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE)
This program offers two years of technical and professional training, capitalizing on the strengths of the highly successful Duke ECE program as well as DKU's Institute of Applied Physical Sciences and Engineering. Duke Kunshan ECE students spend the first year of their program at Duke Kunshan University and have the opportunity to spend the second year of the program at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where they will benefit from collaboration with the dynamic ECE community at Duke. This program fully integrates classroom education and professional training to prepare students for the active engagement necessary to devise solutions for global technical challenges. This program is for students who desire an international education experience in both China and the US, as well as the knowledge and ability to pursue careers in a variety of fields such as engineering, management, or medicine.
Master of Science in Medical Physics (MSc MP)
The field of medical physics applies the concepts of physics to the diagnosis and treatment of human disease. The DKU curriculum integrates classroom learning with clinical practicum training, ensuring students gain sound didactic training in foundational physics concepts and an introduction to clinical applications, using state-of-the-art technology and treatment modalities at Duke University Medical Center in Durham and at partner hospitals in China. There are comprehensive programs in three major tracks: radiation therapy, diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine. Students may choose to concentrate on one track or across tracks. One semester is spent at the Duke University Medical Center campus in Durham in partnership with the medical physics graduate program at Duke, which is the second largest such program in the U.S.
Master of Science in Global Health (MSc GH)
This program is modeled on the highly successful Global Health Master’s pioneered at Duke University. Based in Kunshan, the program engages students in 10 weeks of international field work and offers the opportunity to study in the U.S. The Duke Kunshan University MSc-GH curriculum is highly interdisciplinary, helping students to understand and address economic, social, environmental, political, and health care inequalities. The program equips students to become innovative global health professionals and leaders in the field.
