Academic programs at Duke Kunshan are built around the core principles described below to advance the university’s mission. The four-year, dual degree undergraduate program launched in 2018 integrates liberal arts and sciences principles, combining hallmarks of a Duke education with Chinese tradition. In addition, five graduate programs in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Environmental Policy, Management, Global Health, and Medical Physics prepare DKU students to become global leaders in their fields.

Further, although Duke University agrees to accept certain course work from Duke Kunshan University to be applied toward an award from Duke University, that course work may not be accepted by other colleges or universities in transfer, even if it appears on a transcript from Duke University. The decision to accept course work in transfer from any institution is made by the institution considering the acceptance of credits or course work.
